1.    Booking forms will only be accepted if accompanied by a Cheque/Postal order made payable to “Midland & West of England Great Dane Club”.

2.     All bookings to be made by 22/11/2011 and advertising material to be provided to the printers by 5/12/2011.

3.     No refunds – so please ensure you make the deadline.

4.     Word documents are acceptable but PUBLISHER & pdf documents will not be accepted.

5.     Please use the template available on our website or contact Helen Hankins for a hard copy.

6.     Advertisers are responsible for accuracy; all advertisers will have the opportunity to proof read their adverts once.

7.     If you require any additional editing or artwork you can contact Hayley Woodall tel: 01793 853849 who will be happy to discuss this with you together with any relevant charges.

8.     Photos to be sent as attachments; the photo quality should be 300dpi.  Scanned documents are not recommended by the printers, even though they may look good on your PC screen.  The quality of the print will be determined by the sharpness of your photo provided. If you wish your photo to be bled to page, please ensure you have enough background to the dog & handler to enable this without losing dogs feet, head, tails etc!.

9.     Pedigree pages welcome – in the past these have proven popular and an interesting way to promote your breeding lines!

11.    To advertise your small business, hotel, boarding kennel, cattery, rosette design etc prices are as follows:  £45 full colour page (member) £55 non-member; £35 full page black & white;  £20 half page black & white.

12.   For the benefit of our Members and subject to editorial deadlines being met, the Committee will endeavour to arrange for distribution of the 2012 annuals at the Colour Format and Northern GDC Championship Show –the remainder will be posted.

for even further interest and usefulness, we want pedigrees COLOUR CODED.  The abbreviations quoted in this Club's Ethical Guidelines will suffice and are as follows:

F - Fawn

BR - Brindle

BL - Blue

BK - Black

H - Harlequin

M - Mantle

Mis - Harlequin Mismark

Scanned photos - Must be saved in PC Format as a TIFF Image at 300 dpi resolution.  This has nothing to do with Digital Photographs.  This applies to SLR Photographs that have been changed in Photoshop or Scanned.

Digital photos - Must be at least 1600 pixels by 1200 pixils or better, using NORMAL COMPRESSION (i.e. the LEAST compression).  The file size will be approx. 850k at these settings.  This will be a JPEG file.
